Selective Entry to 2012 ( HELP) (2 Viewers)

Hey guys, im a newbiee and i was hoping to try out for 4 full selective schools.
I currently go to Macquarie Fields High and i was wondering f since im in a partial selective school would it give me an advantage in the test?
the schools i would like to try out for is
1) Fort Street High School
2) Sydney Technical High school
3) Girraween High school
4) I dont know

It would help if you told me which sschools tests are easier and whats in it?
also the amount of people approx trying out

i dont know but my friends say its 2 ....aboout the other schools which one is the wasiest to make it into?.....and since i go to a partial selective it would give me an advantage?

What do you mean closest i live pretty far from there.... the test is easier than the others?

I'm not sure on the exact details but would fathom many go for FS and Syd Tech.

It's not about whether the test is easy.. It's where you are placed in comparision to other students. This can include a combination of an interview, reports, tests. At fort street about 130 students try out to get into year 11. If you're good at english, then you'll do well. But if you're just okay you may find difficulty deconstructing the texts. The maths test is long - not hard, but long. I dont think anyone finishes it.

the preference i have now ...if i go with that does it mean if i come equal in terms of exam with a kid trying out for girraween...would he get the offer if he puts girraween as first preference?

what do they test you in fort street?...as in what subjects like maths is it quadratics or trig or probabilty?or is it just basic year 10 stuff?...and do they consider the report cos i probs got like max 3A's and 5 B's ( but some marks are incorrect and i have to get it remarked nxt term....

Buts thats unfair cos if someone who goes to some box school like livo boys get all A's and i get like B's and A's the school wont judge whether to take in or not equally?
