Selling out, and memorising your essays after having realised you are slow (1 Viewer)

in constructing sentences. I barely scraped halfway through my essay when the time was over. I actually didn't have any essay planned, I only pored over some notes I had on my texts.

Should I start writing practice essays and memorising them?

I used to memorise essays in yr11 but i realised they rarely made it to the A range. Now, I write them normally. Your still in yr11, that's plenty of time to learn it but it's entirely your choice. Some people memorise and do well whereas others write them normally and do well.
