I think that person confused 'sexy' with 'beautiful'.
Most people would use the term 'sexy' to describe an object in a sexual manner. It is not the all encompassing word that describes a woman that is not only physically attractive and/or 'sexy' (which are two different things), but loving and caring and all that other stuff - that word, is 'beautiful'.
