hey guys, im doing mechanical engineering and obviously mman1300 is the one they have in the handbook. but the also say "MINE1300 and CVEN1300 are acceptable alternatives for MMAN1300." At the moment, if i pick mman1300, i have 5 days, but i only have 3 days if i do cven1300. so naturally i really wanna go for cven1300. my question is, will i be at an advantage later on in the degree?

thanks

You may have problems enrolling for every single course you do which requires MMAN1300 because the system specifically requires MMAN1300. All this means is you will need to go to the mech office for the next 1 or 2 times you enrol.

But academically, you should do MMAN1300 for mech because of the dynamics component (as opposed to statics which is similar in both courses), which goes into more depth than CVEN1300. Also, if you care, you will be with students in your degree, this is important for group and lab work in MMAN1300 and future courses.
