I still don't get how your marks are determined.

for example. for extention 1 maths, examination mark was 40. Assessment mark was also 40. and hsc mark was 40...
How does it work?

HSC mark = average of exam mark and assessment mark.

Exam mark = mark YOU got in the HSC exam.

Assessment mark = mark based off your rank and the relative gaps between ranks in your school, moderated against how your cohort does in the HSC exam.
