Okay basicly our site has become VERY popular, the server thinks to popular!

it serves over 400,000 pages a DAY for only our site..

so the poor thing is having trouble keeping up

so the max connections on apache has been reduced to hopefuly keep it online

so you might get an error message every now and then

how about...caching the page? it seems to me the page is dynamically created every time...meaning you are absolutely working the mysql server.

By caching the php pages and updating the cache only when there is an update might save the servers some work... + its faster
