sure hes the best surfer weve ever seen, but im thinkin he was handed it. has had too many suspect scores given to him over the last year i reckon.

i think hes deserving of the title, but it shouldntv been handed to him so soon, couldv at least been brought down to the zilla contest or even pipe...

with his 14 yr on tour and even getting the 7th world title I think people were kind of expecting it, I do agree that the scores were slipping a bit to give him a little lee way but the tour was just waiting for it so it was a little less exciting.

I still think that Andy did better spins at the billabong pro last year but hey you can't change the scores.
Having Occy back is going to keep things heated on the tour since we hear that Slater is retiring...
