Social Policy or Sociology? (1 Viewer)

Hi all,

could anybody help me and please tell me the exact differences between Social Policy and Sociology (they seemed to overlap quite a bit in the descriptions I read), or more importantly, their experiences with either one (or even, what they've heard about them)? I had intended to put Sociology down as my other major in BA Informatics, but I've always been interested in government & politics, and Social Policy seems more involved in that...

(I hope it isn't necessary to choose _all_ the units of study before Enrollment day -- it's giving me the shits right now, frankly...)

It explains the majors and their individual subjects in detail. Hope it helps.

You have to choose your subjects on enrollment day.

It has helped a bit... I was hoping to hear from somebody who's doing these subjects, find out what the teaching's like (and other things like that), but it can't be helped, I guess. Thanks.

You can't do Social Policy without having done Sociology in first year... so I wouldn't worry about it yet.
