i did the questions on

social class
deviance
power
hegemony

hmmm i wrote about 3 pages for each, but i got big writing so that would probably be about 2 pages each question

all i did was directly answer the question, they were only meant to be mini-essays anyway

i reckon i did good in deviance and hegemony, okay in social class and power.

i didnt go into any fancy detail

for eg, for power i wrote webers definition, lukes' 3 dimensions and then the marxist and elitist view and then in the conclusion i compared the marxist and elitist view.

overall, it was fair, not too simple, i didnt study much at all but i hope to get at least 30/40

The feeling of finishing that exam last year... it was the best feeling I have had for a long time. Although I enjoyed the subject, the assessments I found were geared up to ensure many students didn't go very far.

^ the assessments i reckon were fair, maybe thats beucase i got HD, D and c plus :p but essyas (which i am assuming were socio's main assessments when u did it) are pretty fair i feel, though hard, they are the best way to ensure students know their shit.

I knew my 'shit' really well, which is why I recieved a distinction when we went over the theories again in criminology. Suppose its gotta do with luck as well.
