Hey guys,
I thought I'd share a few of my photographs with you. All comments- good or bad, would be greatly appreciated.

I really know nothing at all about photography, I just point and shoot. I know what I like the look of I guess... I really can't wait until next year (yr 11) so I can do photography and actually know what I'm doing!

Anyway, I hope you enjoy looking,
Collette

they are some seriously awesome pics! honestly! u got the talent! there's a nice balance of composition in each of them and they really do look great! u ought to do photography, cause generally i dun like photography, esp. when ppl photograph boring pics that apparently show some layers of meaning or if it is just dull setting or sumthin but there's something about these that honestly work so well! have u checked out ken duncan's stuff? if not u should! he's awesome! i think you'd be good at shooting the kind of stuff he does cause u seem to have the ability to brong out the ineresting stuff in everyday stuff! or atleast i think so... :)

Not bad!! I'm also just a point-and-click photographer -- I only started properly experimenting recently and I've never had proper lessons, but since you asked for comments...

The black and white ones, #2, 7, 9, are really good. #2 has a movie-soundtrack-video clip feel to it that I really like (If anyone's seen the Alice in Chains - Would video clip, that's what this reminds me of).

#9 is just plain good in every way, the contrast, clarity, composition, focus. It'd look really good on something professional, like a pamphlet.. .... I really love that last pic. Really really.

As for #1 and #6, they remind me of things I took last year when I was really just beginning to take photos for fun. The lighting looks much too normal and there isn't any interesting focus. However, the composition is good, and I think that with proper teaching and just more time with a camera, you'd have no problemos making these better. You've got something going there that will grow with time and experience. [which btw is way cheaper these days with digital cameras..]
