Hey guys!

The teacher wouldn't let me put my student number onto the sheet when they said pens down.

and to reassure the situation i asked one of the teachers if i could put my student number down but they said no.

So i'm worried now and i don't know what will happen. I gave my paper in but i don't know.

I did the english paper like 3 days ago and it didn't have my student number on the extra sheets. Also today for maths i couldn't fill my student number on all the papers and they weren't stapled so...

What do i do? Should i go to school tomorrow and check? But wouldn't the papers be packaged by now?

HELP!

Are the trials marked by your own school or different school teachers?

Pretty sure trials are marked internally (not sure how it is for different schools though)
Don't worry too much, they'll figure things out - it shouldn't disadvantage you in the end
If it does, you can always complain

It's your responsibility to write down your student number wherever necessary. You have 2-3 hours to do that, so there is absolutely no excuse for not doing so, and there should be no concessions for students who neglect to do so.

There's no point going to school to check - you cannot modify your papers after the exam has concluded, and that includes stapling, writing your student number etc. Again, this is your responsibility during the exam time; just don't repeat this during the HSC.

Remember in the HSC, if you didn't write your number by the end of the exam, they will not allow you to write it when they stop the exam. This happened to me with one of my booklets and was not allowed to write my number on it. So if the exam was indeed hsc, you would've got zero.

Go to school and discuss matter with principal.
Gonna go to school early to check tomorrow actually just to make sure because this is like the developmental stage of cancer and it's killing me. I even ranted at the end of the test to the BOS organiser and she said she would change it, but for english i'm more concerned.

Ok so i won't go to school tomorrow and should i assume they didn't put my number on it. Therefore my paper isn't marked. Therefor i'm disadvantaged?

How are you disadvantaged? The time that other students spent writing down their student number or stapling pages etc. is time you spent on the paper (doesn't matter if it's just an extra 10 seconds). If you are allowed to write down your student number after the exam has finished, then all other students are being disadvantaged.

You will just have to wait and see if they realise that those extra pages belong with your paper. If you placed them inside your main booklet (presumably), then any decent marker will realise they go together and mark accordingly.

What trial paper did you sit? Independents? CSSA? Your own school made paper? Why was there someone from the BOSTES?

English was own school and what i can recall the paper was inside my booklet so it wasn't left hanging loose anywhere. Um today maths was CSSA paper and pretty much didn't put my student number on all the sheets except for my multiple choice and question book 11, was half way through writing my number for question booklet 12 but couldn't finish because i wasn't allowed to.

The person from BOSTES was supervising us and testing us under HSC conditions. That's what she said for good practice. I also ranted to her about not putting my number on for maths today and she said i won't be disadvantaged and she'll find my paper. But not sure if she actually did it.
