i think its sad that i was unable to actually emotionally connect to and enjoy the texts we did. the focus on techniques, form features etc. fluffy technical language and analysing the crap out of everything spoilt the experience. i mean, shouldn't we be prepared to enjoy and appreciate literature? even something as great as Hamlet i found a drag (i'm sorry, Shakespeare!).
well i have no real points to back myself up, so feel free to scrutinise and disagree.
