hmmmm?
i think its sad that i was unable to actually emotionally connect to and enjoy the texts we did. the focus on techniques, form features etc. fluffy technical language and analysing the crap out of everything spoilt the experience. i mean, shouldn't we be prepared to enjoy and appreciate literature? even something as great as Hamlet i found a drag (i'm sorry, Shakespeare!).
well i have no real points to back myself up, so feel free to scrutinise and disagree.

english was just horrible horrible horrible! had to say it but other than that, i have to agree with you. i'm sure i would have enjoyed a & c or emma or harwood if they were taught right. that said, i'm just glad it's over.
