Hi all! I need to dip into your expertise..
I've been working at a special development school near lilydale (melbourne area) and I want to become a teacher rather than my current role of teachers aide specialising in autism and challenging behaviour - I heard and read about a correspondence degree from Uni of Tasmania where there is an option for a summer semester but I can't travel for - Rumours have been going round the school that some victorian unis will offer a competing education degree with correspondence but Im starting to feel panicked as November approaches.. if i sign up for the tassie one with the idea of switching when a vic option happens it states in the conditions that i have to pause studies for a year first..

does anyone have advice or has anyone heard anything to substantiate that there may soon be an education degree avail by correspondence in melb with option for summer semester?

any info would be gold right now!

UNE has a new Bachelor of Special Education/Bachelor of Disabilities Studies via distance. Res Schools would be in Armidale NSW, but don't know how often. Kicking myself I didn't find out about this one earlier.
