I'm doing speculative fiction...my teacher usually chooses crime fiction...I'm so glad he didn't. It looks very interesting...speculative fiction involves a dystopic society with different people trying to usurp each other etc. Sorry about the highly vague response...my bible for that is wikipedia...try it...it's pretty good.
