hey...
just wondering with the SRB equations i found that some books have this equation:
SO42–(aq) +10H+(aq) +8e–* H2S(aq) +4H2O(l)

while other use
SO42- + 5H2O + 8e- * HS- + 9OH-

which is correct?
are they both correct?
why is there a difference?

the second one,

i think the first one occurs after the second one with HS which is acidic forming H+ ions which in turn accelerate the rate of corrosion. to form water and salt.
