i heard that mq has this stars volunteer program ..just wanted to know if anyone here has been on it..and how it was? and any other information about it

I thought it was a bit like mentors.

hmm i think stars are different to mentors...

i went to mentor training today, wasnt too bad actually

met flyin', and i think goodtogo was possibly my group leader.

was it just me, or were most of the mentors fobs? lol, i feel sorry for the first yearers ... unless they get me of course

I feel sorry for the first yearers as well. My *training* experience was rather cut short for various reasons, even tho I was there the whole time

And Stars for anyone who wasn't sure is the people that do volunteer work for SAM. And u get like discounts and coupons and possibly paid work down the track.

stars is a volunteering program.......i think its sorta like the SRC...without the political crap....

would it seem nerdy to sign up?? i dont want ppl to think of me as a nerd if i do...first impressions last......
