Hey guys! Its the christmas hols, and ive just done my first term of year 12. Any advice for me to get thru next year relatively stressless? im stressed already about english. ive got assessments due pretty much first day back. eep. i need to make up a story on physical journeys! im HOPELESS at creative writing. anyone with any helpful tips for the HSC would be appriciated. THANX!

Just curious. May I ask what school you are from? A tip to make Year 12 less stressful?? Well, have you considered the Pathways program? You can do your your HSC over 2 years +. (Just 2 years is fine for most.) I know, I know you wanna get out of school but 5 or 6 subjects in one HSC year and about 10 assessments due at once is VERY STRESSFUL. (Takes a great strain on your health, part-time job if you have one and social life.) You may be so over it at times that you slack off, and EVERYTHING counts. So why not undertake this program and do half your subjects one year and half the next. Have extra time to concentrate on the subjects you are doing, work part-time and get a bit more dosh and RELAX. You may have to wait an extra year to say you've finished Year 12 but you could do that 2nd year at TAFE even?? I am doing my third year of Pathways and I don't even have to wear a uniform to school. It has really helped me to ''STRESS LESS!''. That is my advice. Best of luck.

Hey OS. Im from Camden High School. Donty know if youve ever heard of it. Yeah thats a solid suggestion for me... but likeyou said...i just want to get it over and done with. One year is bad enough, let alone two? i dunno... also, i dont think i could start it now, what with only 3 terms left of year 12. :S. But thanks heaps anyway!! yeah ive found that my part time job already puts huge pressures on my school work. i need to learn to balance things and PRIORITISE. lol. thanks for your help mate!!

I got some creative story up my sleeve but its more of a fantasty sort of thing, its not something that would actually happen, I doubt they'd allow it

But I find being creative eats up my time and Im the type of person with too much time on my hands ...

So think of a scenario that you'd like (or in this case, you have been in)
Now make it slightly more complex, think of the ending of what you did
Now in between the journey map out what you did, in every step note any changes

If you're still fucked map it out like a tree, the root too the top of the tree is hte journey

But my creativity ability is totally 0!! zero! i cant even think of a journey ive been on or a situation ive been in! im a pretty boring person and i think it will show in the story, if i write about something that happened to me. auugh!!! i hate english

Do you code 1337 software to help you kill the projects? Like the terminators were programmed? Does it track your teacher and force him/her to mark your work generously?
