its only week one and they overload you with stuff you gotta do before such and such, so i was wondering if you uni students could tell us how to keep track of everything!

also for stat 170 ou have to down load the stuff from the computers before the tutes next week? or do they run throught it for you in class?

i went into the computer room today. it wasn't much, just shows you how to navigate around the computers, as it's different to the library computers.


i am a new student, but one thing they told us on orientation was to make a timetable with the important assessments / things teachers give you way in advance to do written on them. then juts for homework i will write it in my diary and just do it before the next lecture.

you just gotta keep on track of things by any means possible. group assignments are good because you're meant to regulary meet your group members to work on the assignment. but for other assignments, make friends with people in the same unit and they will hopefully remind you when things are due and when quizzes are!!

or you could use the student diary.... i've started doing that this year because macq seems to have so many assessments for each unit unlike usyd where you might have maybe 3 plus the final exam for all assessments!!

i have notice the amount of assessments! i have about 4 or 5, and then the final exam! group assignments suck, i hope i get good groups and that we can do it and not chat for hours.

there isn't. we need the purple one - published feb 2003. that's why the lecturer said we could have this years or last years - i.e. they are the same!
