no.

you just need to be able to understand some new concepts. which you dont learn in 4u maths.

make sure you understand now that you have to do all the work though. every week there are some online quizzes (gnats and wasps) to do. they might take you 2 hours. do them anyway, they make a big difference to your understanding of the course and your marks, even if they are only worth 1% or 1/2% each.

you can get useful tips from the message boards on webct as well.

practicals are only helpful for assignments. of which there are 3.

make sure you get 100% in the online quizes. i can help you out answers for wasps. pm me. the questions remain the same...or should anyway.

yeh i ended up missing too many quizes and that screwed me up a few marks...

so how does the assessment work. like wat r each worth and stuff, if u remember

not good memory..

assignments 15%
online quizes 15% (10% gnats and 5% wasps)
class mc test 15% (wont count if overall your final exam mark is more favourable)
final exam 55% (or 70%)

actually, i think thats about right.

nah with stat...i realised that they'll do so much to make sure you get through.

which is good because i think it stops you from slacking off.....
