Heya

just wanted to know from thee computer literate ones - is there anyway to "create" a pdf or "slideshow" type of file from all those files / excel docs / html's / pdf's to make it simply - all one file ?
Or is this breech of macquarie uni copyright etc etc ?

is so, or duno if possible - how can i acess all the info from my HDrive without having to insert the CD-rom...my tablet pc doesnt have cd-rom

go to www.download.com search for cutepdf.

its a good little prog.

works like a printer, that prints out pdf as a file to your hard drive.

basically, when you you want to convert a pdf, just go to print any file. then choose cutepdf as your printer and print. a 'save file' box wil come up. then if you are looking to combine pdf into one file, get jaws pdf, not sure about the link, but you can find it . it lets you add other pdf to current pdfs and make a single pdf from diff ones.

so are all the lecture slides on the stat170 cd? is the cd practically the study guide, but in cd form? if it is, then can i borrow the cd off someone? save me from buying that study guide!!

yeah it is basically, and all the paper is it in hardcopy form


But the CD is way easier to navigate than 500 pages!!

500 pages? your kidding me right? and we have to bring this study guide to every lecture??!?!

yeah, but the pages are all loose, so you only need to take about 10 sheets of paper (the ones that are relevant to the particular lecture).

You wont be missing out on much if you just copy the CD, but its good to have a hard copy in the lectures (to write notes on them). So if you just copy the CD you could print off 500 pages.. :/

yeah they are titled "lecture 1" or "prac 3" etc so you know which to bring.
