I have received offers for multiple degrees at different unis but still unsure of what I should do. Offers have been med sci, pharma, paramed, science and similar. I hacve enrolled in paramed but an having second thoughts mostly because of an offer of Usyd science. I have never been set in a specific degree as I think I would enjoy most things. Any advice on what I should do. My main concern is that I want to be able to get a good job with decent pay but doesn’t have to be amazing. I have considered med but feel like I can’t risk my chances of getting in. Sorry for the long post any advice is appreciated

Apparently pharma is a boring career. I got offered it at unsw. Med sci and science are very similar in job prospects- theyre both very limited. Paramed is prolly the only one you've written that has a guaranteed/reliable job, but I dont think parameds get paid enough for the amount of work they do. Im about to enter my first year a USYD studying the Bachelor of Science and Advanced Studies (Medical Science) which is said to have better job opportunities than regular science or med sci. I do have further plans/goals so this is js a start for me. Key takeaways:
1. Choose something that you can enjoy/do well in
2. Be aware outside of research and lab technician stuff, a b/science or med sci is quite limited for jobs
3. Uni reputation/prestige matters. U can make valuable connections etc

Take my opinion with a grain of salt. I may not be 100% correct on some things but this is what i've been following for a while. Good luck.
