well batting involves yuor hand firmly gripping the wood, then apllying some lubricant for easy movement. after that use gently strokes back and forth until you feel the climax coming, and then boom u hit a 6

Wouldnt you lose grip on the bat if you apply lubricant?

gold!

well im moreso an allrounder but something that has worked for me during defence is a short backswing..ull more likely hit the ball..but be loose :)

i usually just move my feet into position just b4 the ball is bowled so im focusing on the ball right until i hit it.

well..

i am right handed batsman, and i hate left handed batsman cuase they bowl across. basically the bowlers are trying to hit the stumps, so you know where they are going to bowl. so just get ready.

watch the ball and the get ready a lot of leg side shots against left handers, avoid cutting them early on and always play on the front foot for your first few overs.

Yeah a shorter back swing definately helps. Working the ball around instead of swinging and slashing cuts and drives help during the early stage, until you figure out the bowlers line and length.

Im a L/H batsman and my fav shots are sweep, pull, cover drive, square drive/cut reverse sweep however my straight drive is a bit shotty and i mostly get caught playing that shot
