Hi fellow 2005ers,

In Prelim I was doing Studies of Religion 1 unit, but due to timetable clashes, I couldnt do History extension, therefore was short 1 potential unit. I was bumped up to 2 unit RE last year. Due to a new Assistant Principal, there is this whole ordeal about whether the school will let me stay in 2unit, or make me go back to one, putting my total units to 11. At the moment they are leaving it up to me.

I was doing well in 1unit, no probs, but I didnt want Music to count on my HSC.
I do: Adv Eng, Gen Maths, Mod History, Eng Ext1, Eng Ext2, Music and 2unit RE (=12units) at the moment.

I was just hoping for some input. Do you think I should stay in 2unit (get alright, but not late band 5/6, marks) or go back to 1unit (get 47/50ish)?
S.A.M. tells me that I would get 1 mark MORE if I went back to 1 unit, and counted half my music mark (which would be 70s), surprisingly..

I'd love any response!

I dont understand why you wouldnt want your music mark to count? If it was to count it would be because it is better than your SOR mark. If you could get 47/50 in 1 unit SOR you should easily get atleast 80s for the 2 unit version. Its not that more difficult that the 1 unit version, the only things is that its more work, but then again its an extra unit.

I think it would be better to have your music mark count. The more the merrier I say
