So I've got to hand in an assessment that's a couple of days late. Not good, I know, but unavoidable due to certain circumstances. Unfortunately these circumstances don't allow for me to get an extension, but I don't mind- I just want to hand it in.

However, can I still just put it in the assessment box even though it's late? Or do I have to go through other channels?

Any advice as soon as possible would be appreciated.

You should just be able to hand it in, and the people who collect them and send them off will mark it with today's date etc.

To be honest, even though you said that your problems won't allow you to get an extension, I'd still till your tutor. Just shoot them an email explaining what happened.

By the way, you realise that this is the Macquarie forum? :p
