subscribing to a thread (1 Viewer)

why the hell does it automatically unsubscribe me from a thread that i subscribed to?
is there a way to subscribe to a thread permanently? (not the WHOLE thread, just the topics)

i've posted this in site help, but it's been sitting there for a couple of days and no one has answered, hence why i posted in IT..

Subscribing seems to work randomly, sometime i'm just subsribed when i don't want to.

Well like this really is still a site and forum issue, maybe it's because vBulletin playing up with a bug.
