Ok, I'm asking lots of questions, but what the hell.

Is table A in the Arts handbook all the majors, while table B is all the minors? Or is Table A all the more humanities-ish stuff?

Table A represents the majors offered by the Arts faculty, and Table B represents the additonal majors within a BA that are offered by other faculties.

Yeah.

For a BA you must do at least one Table A major - units offered by the art faculty - and then you are eligible to do one Table B major - units offered by other faculties.

Look at http://www.arts.usyd.edu.au/faculty/degreepathways/arts3.html for a good explanation of how Table A/Table B fits into your degree.

You can only do up to 60 credit points in table B.
