Does anyone have any clue what kind of marks is required to be achieved for Accounting Diploma course to be able to transfer to a University?

I'm just researching for alternative pathways so if anyone can suggest any other good pathways you know of that would be MUCH appreciated as well.

Also does anyone know of any other Tafe courses that is eligible for transfer to a business or commerce degree?

THANKS.

Generally if you do an Advanced Diploma of Accounting @ Tafe which is 2 years; you will get accredited 1 yr (or 1.5 yr if dont want to be recognised by CPA)

My unis have an angreement with the local TAFE.

Here in Canberra, UC and ANU have a deal with CIT (Canberra Institute of Tech - 'tafe'). Basically if you get the marks in the diploa, you get in. If u want to be a CPA (most do) you only get 1 yr out of the 2 credited; i spose cause the work is easier ?? You can get 1.5 yrs credited if u dont want to become CPA (basically you dont have to do some law subjects- so they can credit the tafe subjects)

This msg may sound confusing. best to check with the tafe u r going to...

Check the private colleges in SYdney though... There is one at MACq where you you dont lose any time - 1 yr at college , gets u into yr 2 of u degree.

Most colleges require full fee student - ie 10,000 + a year..
