Out of all the paragraphs of anything, the last is always the most daunting for me. How does one write a conclusion without it sounding like an introduction? I always do that! >.<

sheesh Id never ask my teachers something like that cos then theyll recommend me to standard or somefin :(

In your conclusions you should be aiming to 'synthesise' - i.e. linking your texts together. Find a comment element, e.g. how they represent power, and show how this is done in all of your texts. In your conclusions, you should answer the question and summarise everything that you have already said succinctly.

Shouldn't linking your text together already be done in the introduction in which your reveal your approach to the question?
Isn't the intro where you note a common element that links all your text together?

yeah but in doing it consistently throughout your response AND at the end, you are showing that you have comprehended the question correctly and have a thorough knowledge of english concepts, and the texts... which is what they will be looking for

yeah you have to sum everything up at the end
it's in essence like your intro, but without all the details of the texts
