Telling the Truth (1 Viewer)

I was wondering if anyone could suggest what things in particular to look for in this module?
We have a film study task next wednesday on some 'unknown' film based on Telling the Truth.
More in general, what are we exactly meant to be looking at in this module? Just the way truth is misrepresented or what?

Any help at all is appreciated

Look at how truth is told - how it is represented, how it can be distorted, how it can be manipulated, how it is subject to degredation through time, how it is merely one person's interpretation of events.

^ That's a bit of a glossover, but it should get you into the right direction. What's your prescribed text? I did Birthday Letters.

when doing a responce have these questions in your mind:

WHAT is the truth that is being represented? (remember, it doesnt necessarily have to be THE truth, just A truth that they are trying to get across to readers/viewers)

WHY is this particular truth being represented in such a way? (this could include discussion on purpose/aims/motivations of the authors - ie moral, monetary, political, personal, etc.

HOW is this particular truth represented? (this is the token techniques question)
