can someone help me try and make sense of terry lee's questions in his 3 unit textbook, ex. 24.1 question 20, APCW2.
it says " the height of a circular cone is increasing at 3cm/s, while th eradius of the base is decreasing at the rate of 2cm/s. Find the rate of change of the volume when the cylinder is 15cm high, and the radius of the base is 5cm.
i draw your attention to circular cone, then cylinder???
im confused.

Assume either a circular cone or a cylinder, work out each answer and then compare to the answer given. I don't have the book, so I can't give you much more help there.

i dont have the book either, i got a photocopy, teacher didnt give answers, so i dont know.
ill still try both.
