The Bamberg conference of 1926 was a meeting between the northern radical nazi supporters, including Gregor Strasser and Josef Goebbels, and the Southern Supporters. Hitler flooded the meeting with these southern supporters, and was able to establish the lines of the nazi leadership, downplaying both the radical and Strassers role in the NSDAP.

This meeting is importnat, as Hitler reestablished his leadership, and secured it from the leftist Strasser. This was the meeting where Goebbels was won over by Hitler.
