this is the fake newcastle uni forum.
just pretend it's a real forum, with only one thread.

now um and cyph can talk about stuff
and young'ns can ask about degrees and stuff
and i can pay out the bar on the hill (which has no hill).

my mum studies fine arts there
stacks of my mates from school do stuff there too
that's about it for the moment

avoid john sutton like the plague! he smells and is a hard marker! nice guy but

oh and the course has a splendid boy/girl ratio too

how good do you reckon the prospects are after completing it, like jobs, and what kind of jobs could you get into?

hah, well im contemplating going to UTS cos job prospects arent that good from newy
i major in journalism, so i've been doing subjects like intro to professional writing and intro to journalism and shit....but you can major in like, PR or production and stuff like that

we also do a lot of media studies and mass communication theory and the like. very interesting

newcastle (callaghan campus) has around 15000 students, and newcastle (ourimbah) has around 4000 (i think) students
