hey guys, i'm really confused about this HSC outcome:

"Assess the impact of particular advances in Chemistry on the development of technologies"

Ir's a section we have to do in our batteries assessment task, however i don't really know what i'm supposed to write for this. do they mean "assess how the advances in battery technology has helped with the development of modern technology"?

any help will be much appreciated!

Yes pretty much.

How the advent of understanding of redox reactions, has led to the battery, which asists in the development of technologies that function on portable electrical power.

Splitting up a question helps me :uhhuh:

Assess - give the advantages, disadvantages then your judgement

OF the impact of particular advances (hint: you choose), in chemistry on the development of technologies (technlogy topic being electrochemistry)
