The new Weetbix advert that basically says "cram yourself full of Weetbix to do better at your HSC" is begining to piss me off. Thoughts?

It better be right, im banking on it. Ive only done 50% of the amount of study i set myself as i believe weet-bix will make me perform 150% better in the hsc and hence compensate for my lack of study.

i think the idea is that if you eat breakfast in general before an exam you'll perform better (which, incidentally is true), but since they're trying to flog weet-bix, they shamelessly put in weet-bix instead of 'breakfast', as if it is the only thing that will work.
P.S.- the ad is starting to piss me off too

i thought it was interesting that the majority of people they showed that 'ate weetbix for breakfast' were guys, i think i saw one girl. and the people that didnt eat weetbix/breakfast? girls. but then again i could be hallucinating from lack of sleep.. or maybe i was in a bad mood when i watched it.

either way its pissing me off.

I mean, I have never once seen anyone act like that after an exam!

yeah it's giving me the shits mainly because it's for the 'worry warts' (hehe havent used that term for ages) it is directly targetted at us and our 'paranoia' of our marks. it's them rying to get money off us for 'alleged' marks.

But the thing is, the ad is factually true. Cram yourself with Weetbix, and the slow burning burning energy released will tend to make you perform better.. now of course we all that eating breakfast in general will do that, but remember they're trying to advertise a specific product so they can't exactly just say that eating breakfast in general will make ya go good.
