when i used to do german they never gave us the exams, and in junior years they sometimes didnt give them back cause the teachers were tight and used them next year.

grr! but luckily we get ours back.

Our 4u Math teacher did the exact same thing...I asked him why and he said he might want to re-use them another year, lol, same deal with the chemistry teacher. You really dont need half yearlies for study though..there are heaps of trial papers you can sink your teeth into for practice, and they're better anyway.

Fair enough you should have the right to learn from your mistakes or look at a particularly good response but ultimately they don't help all together that much.

Our school makes new exams every year. Well I won't get to carried away in saying they make new ones every year because they look bloody similar to the former HSC exam questions (looks like they just lift the questions from former HSC exams and change a few words).

Everything on the exam is IDENTICAL (almost) to an Board of Studies exam (except the school logo sits in place of the Board of Studies one).

So we get ours back.

i dont think we get ours back for the ones we wrote on separate paper for - like english... cause we didnt get em back last year and ive never got a test back that i didnt write on so i could study from it..

With all my exams so far i got it all back, the only one i think will be english but you can kinda know the question from what your answer is when you go to study it.

we always get our exams question booklets back, and they give past skool exams to younger years as practise papers...when they do the exam
