Did anyone from BoS go last night? I went with some friends - it was alright. The punk-ish band that was playing were pretty crap (RnB stuff was good!), but that was definitely outweighed by the extremely cheap drinks!

First UNSW party i've been to, and depending on the themes of the next ones it might be my last as i've never been anywhere where my g/f has been hit on by so many individual guys - it was a complete sleaze-fest. (Lebo accent) "Oi, you're not wearing a red badge [even tho your b/f is standing right next to you], so that means you have to hook up with me".

I really enjoyed that band. :) They did some great covers of some classic dance and rock songs. The two rooms catered for different crowds; similarly, I'm not really much of an RNB fan.

Last year's traffic light party was a lot bigger. And most parties are less sleazy. (But I'm not a girl.)

Time to get some sleep. :p

Admittedly, I didn't stick around inside to hear too many songs from them, but when I walked in to get another beer and heard the chick whining "you got a hundred dollar bill get your hands up..." into the microphone, it was all over! An annoying song that's made infinitely worse when converted to punk. :)

17, have to wait till June. :(

I didn't wan't to go in case they did check id, and then I would have had to end up staying outside.

you should sack him for that

i had the best time. unfortunately only three or five people were willing to try break dancing with me and Robin.

i had a massively good time regardless, and i almost made it to the after party, but not quite. a mistake i shall have to rectify for next time

I tried to get in, after having half a bottle of southern comfort because I knew they wouldn't let me drink once I got in (I'm still 17), didn't know they checked IDs at the door though.

I ended up running around the back and climbing up some wall, onto the top part of the roundhouse where I was met by 3 security guys and escorted back downstairs, while they were using their walkie talkies to tell the people at the front to watch out for me. I was a bit pissed though so they must have thought I was trying to break in and plant a bomb or something...

hahaha billymak! funny story.

i was denied entry by those nazia at the front door because i didn't have "proper ID". i lost my wallet a couple of weeks ago, so i have no driver's license. i am 18 though, and i had my old high school ID which has my name, birthdate and photo on it.

i really need to get my driver's replaced, and they really should put your birthdate on your uni ID.

but i heard i didn't miss much!
