I am currently studying a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Queensland (St. Lucia campus) but am interested in changing universities. My initial aim was to go to the Australian National University in Canberra, but after coming out of school, although I had the OP to get in, I was not ready to move so far from home. However, after a year of Uni in Queensland, I think I may be ready to move. I am really enjoying the course I am doing at UQ (Extended Major in Archaeology, Minor in either Sociology or Anthropology) and had plans originally to change to a Science/Arts dual degree next year (so I could also study Anatomy). However, ANU offers degrees in Biological Anthropology and Genetics, which is perhaps more specifically where I want to go with my career (at the moment 
).
So I guess my question is... Does anyone know how I would go about transferring interstate universities?? I had a look on the internet, but it hasn't been much help thus far. If anyone out there has done this type of transfer before I would really appreciate advice on what I need to do/how to do it/where to go/who to see to go about doing it . I don't know much about NSW or ACT tertiary education requirements and application, so anthing would be helpful. Also information on Credit Transfer between Universities.
Also as an added extra, if anyone has done courses like the ones I am looking at for ANU, and if they have any advice or feedback on what they thought of them, I would really like to hear peoples opinions on those too.
