Transfer within the same uni through UAC (1 Viewer)

if you transfered from a similar course ie. Course A to Course B in the same uni via UAC.

do you still need to request the uni for an Academic Transcript to get exemptions for the subjects you've done? or does the uni just automatically transfer the subjects over since its the same uni.

I know you definitely need academic transcripts if you transfered from another uni, but just wondering if you must need one for the same uni, as transcripts costs money.. >.<
