I have a pathetic UAI of 81.25 and I am enrolled in another course at UNSW. Just wondering......would it be possible to transfer into a B Arts at UNSW. What kind of marks would I need to do this and how is it done? Can you do it after one semester or do you have to wait until the end of the year? Also, if I am behind, can Arts subjects be taken in the summer session to catch up and finish the course in 3 years?

add your uai and your gpa thingy together and divide by two

i think a d average (6.0) converts to 96

so say you had (81.25+96)/2=88.625

so if that is above the arts nrsl cutoff, you would get in

that will depend on the NRSL cutoff for next year which is usually lower then the published 1st year cut off.
im saying even a GPA of 5.2 would probably be sufficent (although, the higher the better of course)
a 5.20 is the eqivalent of a 91.00 so therefore:

91+81.25/2= 86.125

so in other words, a low credit average?
