transfering to B Commerce or B Business (1 Viewer)

umm, i'm looking at the UAC book and the B Commerce and B Business courses across different unis are quite high.

So i am wondering what course can i do to transfer into either one...(of course a course with a lower cut-off)

well it would depend on the actual uni(s) you want to go into.
then find out the subjects for the Bcom or Bb courses.
then compare them to other subjects in the same field and find which ones overlap the most...allowing you to transfer to the desired course in the second yr.

i've a thread in macq uni section, even tho i was looking at different course, it may be helpful to see the things to consider

B Art but doing all the eco sorta subjects.. thats what i'm planning to do

Yeah, if u cant get into Eco, do Arts for one year, and do 2 of ur 4 subjects each semester as the Commerce/Eco core courses (ie, Accounting 1A+1B and Macro1/Micro1). This means u dont fully waste 1 year as u can credit these courses for ur BCom

which uni is the best for arts tho?

as in transfering, and the subjects that u can choose realted to eco/commerce?

At UNSW, out of the 8 first year subjects u have to complete in BA, u can choose up to 4 subjects from Commerce/Eco

what about at sydney and oher unis?

for b.bus at uts you could do combined business with science or engineering (where the uai is lower than straight b.bus) and get a credit average and transfer then.

other subjects which lower UAI cut-offs that can get you into b.bus are b.maths and finance?/b.sci math finance (one of those i forget)

such courses give you some experience in business faculty subjects and can help you get a transfer
