I know that if you transfer from one uni to another then UAC will combine your University Grades and UAI to work out a new ranking. Does anyone know the process of this calculation? Will this calculation give you a new UAI which will be used to determine your entrance into course?

Also, are non recent school leavers ranked against other NRSLs or Yr 12 applicants as well? Like do NRSLs apply to get a place in a course that offers a number of places to yr12 people, or does the uni offer a certain number of places for external transfer applicants?
