I have a valid temporary passport that only expires in December 2012. I am a south African citizen and I want to go home from the United States in April 21012. It seems like a silly question but would I be allowed to board the plane back to south Africa from Miami with a temporary south African passport?? My full passport arrives in June but I have my brothers wedding in may..and I'd like to attend! Any help would be appreciated?
