Ok, im having a little trouble working out how the hsc works. But heres my situation. Say Ive been going well all year, ranked 1st or close to it, and in competition with a fellow student, and were both scoring similar assessment marks. Say come trials, i do miserable in the trials, which brings my assessment down. Say this fellow student will either do well, or bomb out like me. Question - if we both get a crap assessment mark (as a result of trials), and do extremely well in the actual hsc, does the whole 50/50 mark thing still apply? I heard they do UAIs according to how well your class does as a whole, but to what extent? Im confused. Sorry about the wall of text, but any input, if any, would be great. kthnx.
