for a trotsky question, the one they usually put in for the DESCRIBE about his life and accomplishments etc from 1917 - 1940 or whatever... what do u reckon the main points are regarding this to make a nice concise essay??

Hey well for the second essay on Trotsky, i have info on these topics:
- his beliefs (strong/weak point)
- his importance in the 1917 revolution (july days, red guards etc)
- role in consolidating power (Red General in fighting war communism)
- power struggle (him against the troika and stalin)
- trotsky stratergy for modernisation (hated NEP etc)
- How his political views, after Lenins death, led to him being exiled from soviet union.
Thats preety much what i rotated my essay on, i just elaborated alot on those points.Hope it helps !
