Hey guys;

I have a titration prac coming up next week; I was just wondering if any one have every than this practical or knows what things could come up in the practical.

I have some questions that I can't understand? any help would be appreciation and my thanks goes to everyone!

1. How pecise are the calibration markins on a burrete?

2. Before starting a titration we pour the solution past the 0.000m mark of the burrette why is this done?

3. Which solution goes into the conical flask?

Could you please go in detial, I tried and read everywhere but couldn't find any answers to these questions?

What else could they ask you to find?

Thanks

What happened to your state rank?

1. Depends on the burette - it should say what it is on the burette (eg +/-0.05mL)
2. Obviously, if it isn't past the 0.000mL mark, you don't have enough. You need MORE so you can drain some out until it is exactly 0.000m - more accurate.
3. The analyte - unknown solution, to make it easier for you to understand.
