I just have two questions:

1. Where are you up to in the course

2. What are the hardest concepts to grasp in the whole syllabus, is it macroeconomic policies ? Fiscal policies etc ?

thanx

My school is currently at Topic 2, wrapping up on Australia's trade and financial flows and moving into exchange rates. I think today we also touched on Inflation (in topic 3) and Monetary policy (topic 4), just some articles on it and discussion is all. Concurrently, we're working on our case studies on an economy other than Australia.
I'm not sure where that puts us in relation to other schools, I don't feel we're behind... possibly a bit ahead. I dunno. :)

I don't know about your 2nd question... for one thing, I haven't studied the whole syllabus yet, so I wouldn't know. And I tend to find alot of concepts hard, but work my way through them gradually.

nah we just finished topic two. all our case studies are the assesments (i think thats the case for most schools). this gets them done and doesnt deduct time from other parts of the syllabus, although im aware that youre doing them concurently lainee. PPS what school?

Sydney Girls. I guess we're not ahead then, damnit. :p I'm not sure what you mean but we're doing them as a group assignment (was suppose to be over the hols). I don't think it was very good timing to set the assignment mostly because I had to read the rest of Topic 2 to get a better understanding of what to do in the case study.

it was pretty funny today......this teacher at my school gave his year 12 class their holiday homework, and he said "sorry boys, i forgot to give this to you last term (it was an A4 sheet with all the questions/reading on it), and it was supposed to be done by today, so u will just have to get it all done over the weekend"

and they say that exclusive private schools are good :(

lol, that's funny. Well, -I- don't think exclusive private schools are any better than public. ;)

You know AGB, sometimes you sound so knowledgable that I forget you're still in high school. :) I repeted your BOP=0 explanation to a friend at school today and I refered to you as 'some guy from the class of 02'. :p

i actually think we're still on topic 1...we're looking over the hsc examination of 2003 and we're going through the multiple choice. i think we're just about to start topic 2...are we behind??!! lol... my teacher is pretty cool so he makes economics as interesting as it can get.
