Two's comp > Base 10 (1 Viewer)

Can someone check this for me, I'm trying to convert two's comp. rep to base 10 rep.


Does;

0111= 7

1001= 9

01101= 13

1000= 8


I don't think ive done it wrong..Someone englighten me?

Those binary numbers are correct in Base 10. I'm not sure about this two complement stuff?

Yeah, that's whats throwing me off, the two's comp bit.
I think two's comp. means I have to 'flip' te binary before I change it to base 10..So that would mean 0111=1000, and in base 10 it would be 8. Maybe?
