Hi, when ordering my UAC courses, I find that one of the courses doesn’t have the green sticker that says “You will be competing with other applicants for an offer” with a tick, while the other 4 do. My first preference is double comm and adv science at UNSW and it doesn’t have the sticker. All my other preferences are mostly UNSW and have the sticker

From memory (sorry did hsc last year) this just happens sometimes. Some courses have entry requirements that are not just an atar (e.g. a prerequesite or something) that takes time to process. It's most likely something like that and should fix itself i hope

Okay thank you so much. Also, I was just wondering what my likelihood of getting into my first course was as the selection rank is a 94. I received a 92 ATAR and I should receive abt 5 adjustment points from HSC plus scheme. I’m not sure if I can get 5 points from a range of my subjects or if only one subject is counted but i’m assuming it’s any subject that’s listed on the eligible subject list.

not sure exactly how unsw does it sorry... but if you do get all 5 bonus points then yeah you should get an offer. even if not you have a good chance of a later round offer with 1 or 2 bonus points

also on the lack of a sticker on uac preferences.. double check there are no notes or anything about course eligibility or anything like that... i remember having to answer a couple of questions for one degree at another uni (cant remember which). prob not that but worth a check
