I was wondering (because I've heard the rumours ) that if I get say... a baaaaad mark - eg.60, in most Uni's, because of the need for teachers, I've heard that they'll accept you anyway, even though in that case I'd be at least 10 - 30 marks off the UAI cutoffs.....Anyone physically been through this yet????

sum up - I wanna do a dual degree which enables me to do the 3 yrs of the pre vet stuff as well as an education degree (for my Yr off to make moneey and a back up!!!...ahem) anyway....
any witnesses to this rumour??

I don't think that is true - if the cut off was 75UAI, why would they take someone with a UAI of 60 when they can have someone with a UAI of 74.95????

I have a friend who didn't get into education and have been accepted into a PREP college scheme where you do some uni subjects and basic skill subjects and if your marks are high enough, you can get entry into the uni - but its not automatic
