the UAI cut offs for 2004 listed in the UAC guide was the lowest cut offs for this year's students right?

so that means if i get the cut off mark for 2004, that doesnt guarantee me a position in next year at a uni though huh?

i'm planning to do commerce @ unsw. uai: 96.00, hopefully it doesnt change too much by next year.

The cut-offs will be recalculated for 2005 when all preferences are locked in on 6 January.

Can't guarantee you will get it, but I don't think (in my opinion) it will increase again. If it does, not by much.

in 2003 commerce at UNSW was 95.50, in 2004 it was 96.00 thats quite a big leap isnt it?

also i've been noticing the UAI has been declining over the last few years, this is what i had with SAM:

2003 UAI: 98.20
2002 UAI: 98.55
2001 UAI: 99.25

so do you guys think that the UAI will be lower again this year?
